AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited
"Tree for Life 2014", an environmental education programme organized by the Conservancy Association ("CA") and sponsored by AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited, has been successfully completed.
On 10th October, children from kindergartens and primary schools gathered in Kowloon Park to learn about different species of trees and their characteristics. After that, they divided into groups to compete in creating collage using fallen leaves and other recycled materials. The prize presentation ceremony was held on 8th November in AEON Kornhill Store and the winning artworks will be exhibited until 12th November.
After the ceremony, six sessions of the "Little Tree Planting" activity have been arranged by CA. AEON customers were invited to join the activity to learn about Buddhist Pine and how to grow one. Each participant took home a seedling at the end if the activity.
