AEON “Yellow Receipt Campaign” Phase 5 Donation Ceremony

Starting from August 2012, AEON Hong Kong has launched a fund-raising Campaign named “Yellow Receipt”. In that day, an extra receipt in yellow colour (yellow receipt) will be given to our customers after purchasing with the total transaction amount printed on it. Customers are invited to vote for the charity organizations that they would like to support by putting the yellow receipts into the given boxes. Goods with the value of 1% of total transaction amount voted will be donated to the organizations by AEON to support their charitable activities. Up to Jan 2015, AEON has collected near 1,300,000 votes, donated goods of more than HK$2,000,000.

In Phase 5 of “Yellow Receipt” campaign from August 2014 to January 2015, AEON Hong Kong has collected over 240,000 votes and will donate goods of more than HK$360,000 to 12 charity organizations, including: Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation, Po Leung Kuk, The Hong Kong Society for the Aged, Eco Association, St. James' Settlement, Food Grace – Food Recycling Scheme, Hong Kong Sheung Kung Hui Welfare Council Limited, Fu Hong Society, Helping Hand, HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre and Greeners action.

In order to share the result with customers and charity organizations, “Yellow Receipt” Donation Ceremony of Phase 5 and Charity Carnival are held on 28th February at AEON Kornhill Store. AEON would also take this opportunity to link together the entire community, and make unremitting efforts for environmental, social welfare and so on. “Yellow Receipt” Campaign will continue to be held on the 11th of each month in the future, please continue to support us!
