JUSCO Announces Launch Of JUSCOCITY

PROVIDES ONE-STOP ON LINE SHOPPING & SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS

(Hong Kong, September 27, 2000) - General Merchandise Stores (GMSs) operator JUSCO Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited ("JUSCO" or the "Group") (Stock code: 984) signed a cooperative agreement with Internad Limited, a leading e-commerce solution provider in Hong Kong, to develop www.juscocityhk.com., a virtual shopping mall which will bring an exciting shopping experience and provide ultra convenience to its valued customers.

JUSCO is proud to introduce the on-line shopping concept which is in line with the Group's philosophy to place the "Customer First" by providing "Quality Service". JUSCOCITY will be launched at the end of the year. Apart from experiencing this convenient shopping concept, other new features such as entertainment, travel, finance and banking, e-magazine, news and weather etc will be included to enrich content.
