The Used Book Recycling Campaign has been co-organized by World Vision Hong Kong and AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited since 1992. The event has risen over HK$35 million in the past 27 years for World Vision's poverty-alleviation projects in China.
Approaching its 28th year, the donation campaign aims to support early childhood education projects in the Chinese provinces of Guangxi and Shaanxi, helping nurture virtues in children and impart basic knowledge to the young generation, so as to allow more vulnerable children to pursue their dreams.
The annual Used Book Recycling Campaign kicks off today (25 July) at Plaza Hollywood in Diamond Hill. Collected over 180,000 used books, ranging from children's books, comics to novels and reference books. Specified type of books, starting from HK$10 only.
