AEON Awarded “InnoESG Prize 2021 - Philanthropy Prize”

On 25th June, 2021, AEON was awarded “InnoESG Prize 2021 - Philanthropy Prize”, co-granted by SocietyNext Foundation, UNESCO HK Association Glocal Peace Centre and Rotary Action Group for Peace, for its contribution in transforming the world with sustainable measures.

The InnoESG Prize aims to encourage businesses to innovatively reform their core business through adapting or incorporating Sustainability/ESG aspects. The awardees were assessed by a set of criteria on ESG/ Sustainable Policies formulation, execution and evaluation.

AEON upholds the Group's philosophy in "contributing to local communities" and has been striving towards the development of a sustainable society over the years. Through implementing of CSR projects and environmental conservation measures, AEON joins hand in hand with stakeholders to contribute a sustainable future, and thus, has gained recognition from the adjudicating panels.

The Group is mainly engaged in the operation of general retail businesses (General Merchandise Stores and Independent Supermarkets).
