AEON Kumamoto Fair Opening Ceremony 2023

AEON Kumamoto Fair was held from March 3 to March 15, bringing a variety of selected products from Kumamoto and a variety of KUMAMON products to everyone. The opening ceremony was held at AEON STYLE Kornhill on March 3 with Mr. Yoshiaki Banto, Chief Director, Kumamoto Prefectural Government Hong Kong Representative Office, Mr. Keiichi Nishiyama, General Manager, Kumamoto Prefectural Economic Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives and Mr. Shinya Hisanaga, Director of Buying, Logistics and Operations of AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited as officiating guests.

At the opening ceremony, KUMAMON was specially invited as the officiant guest to promote the products of his hometown and get in close contact with everyone. KUMAMON led everyone to dance "KUMAMON dance" together with Mr. Yoshiaki Banto, Mr. Shinya Hisanaga and AEON staff. At the end, KUMAMON played a quiz game with customers and gave out KUMAMON dolls as gifts, so that everyone can have a deeper understanding of Kumamoto Prefecture.

After the ceremony, KUMAMON shared the delicacy of Kumamoto melon and tomato with customers in the tasting session. Through this promotion, AEON hopes to allow customers to taste the freshest Kumamoto products!
