AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited (AEON Stores) today (27 March) announced the introduction of Self Payment Machine and High-Speed Cash Recycler of Glory Global Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited, headquartered in Japan, to AEON STYLE Whampoa, in order to simplify the daily and logistical works of the store, hence improving the operating efficiency. The Group has always insisted on continuous innovation to ensure smooth store operations. In recent years, it has actively achieved sustainable development and accelerated digital transformation, thereby reducing repetitive manual operations, making better use of human resources, and promoting long-term sustainable business growth.
Enabling Cash and Cashless, Self Payment for Customers
GLORY CashinfinityTM Self Payment Machine was first introduced to AEON STYLE Whampoa from Glory Global Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited, headquartered in Japan, connecting with the existing Self-Express machine. While customers are checking-out at Self-Express, besides the existing credit card and electronic payment methods, they can also use cash to pay and check through GLORY CashinfinityTM Self Payment Machine, bringing customers with various choices of payment methods – complete contactless payment and shortening queuing time; at the meantime, enhancing convenience and flexibilities.
Streamlining End-of-day Processes in the Back Office
Additionally, the latest GLORY CashinfinityTM High-Speed Cash Recycler is also being introduced, which has the function of quickly identifying and automatically recycling banknotes and coins, assisting employees to carry out repetitive tasks - cash submission and sorting procedures in the back office, effectively avoiding the occurrence of errors caused by manual counting, and significantly reducing manual processing time, further satisfy the daily cash processing demands in store operation and improve work efficiency.
