Mr. Lam Man Tin, Managing Director of AEON Stores, said, "We are very delighted to announce the opening of our second shopping centre in Huizhou. The Group has been relentless in developing the south China market. Since we opened our first GMS in Teem Plaza, Guangzhou in 1996, we have established 11 GMS and two shopping centres in Guangdong Province and grown our business in steady strides. Drawing from the successful example of running our first shopping centre in Shunde, we are confident of bringing to customers the pleasure of one-stop leisure shopping at the new centre."

The new shopping centre houses a GMS, a supermarket, eateries featuring international cuisines, and assembles businesses of beauty and healthcare as well as culture and education, covering every aspect of daily living requirements. Among the 125 specialty stores, there is a large home electrical appliance shop and a game centre. To give customers the biggest shopping convenience, the centre also offers services like free delivery to all areas in Huizhou.

The three-storey GMS in shopping centre has a large food court, and also complemented with many special features. The supermarket carries own brand "TOPVALU" and many other products exclusively distributed and imported by the Group. It also has a "Hakka Food Corner" to serve the large Hakka population in the region. In the fashion section, customers can find a number of Japanese brands introduced into Huizhou for the first time.

Mr. Lam concluded, "The Group is dedicated to the business principle of 'everything we do, we do for our customers', which is reflected in the details of the Huizhou shopping centre. The shopping centre takes into consideration of local preferences, lifestyle, culture and habits with the aim of ensuring all merchandises and services meet the specific needs of customers and give customers the most suitable shopping environment. Riding on the strength of the JUSCO brand in China, we believe we will be able to continue to promote our image characterised by 'safety', 'confidence' and 'trust' among customers."
