AEON awarded E-Waste and Carbon Reduction Certificate

On March 21st, during the event "ALBA IWS" Eco Impact: E-Waste and Carbon Reduction”, organized by ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (HK) Limited, AEON was awarded the E-Waste and Carbon Reduction Certificate to recognize AEON's effort to foster carbon neutrality of Hong Kong by 2050. 

Through the Producer Responsibility Scheme on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, relevant waste electrical and electronic equipment will be directed to licensed recycling facilities for proper treatment and recycling, turning waste into resources, thus offering a long-term solution to potential land contamination and environmental problems arising from mishandling during transfer, storage and dismantling processes.
